Rasam #1 that cure and protect against viral infections - The recipes

RECIPE: INDIAN RASAM

This recipe has been used several times by Mrs. Samprada N on herself and few other volunteers and family members, for chronic cold and cough. It gives good results.

CONSUME IT 3 TIMES A DAY AS A SOUP OR WITH RICE IN MEAL TIMES

Ingredients:
  1. Turmeric powder
  2. Ginger - Scrape the skin for this recipe
  3. Whole Black Pepper
  4. 1 Lemon
  5. Jeera (Cumin seeds)
  6. Peeled and washed Garlic
  7. Coriander Leaves
  8. Toor dal (See Below) - washed well

Preparation:
  1. Soak jeera, black pepper (5-6), curry leaves and toor dal (a spoonful) for about 20min. Then roughly (not fine paste) grind them.
  2. Keep 1-inch ginger grated. Mash about 15-20 garlic cloves roughly.
  3. Tomatoes are optional. Since this rasam is for cure, you can use lime juice in the end, so that the nutrients get absorbed in the body.
  4. In a vessel filled with water (about 250-300ml), add about 1/4th spoon of turmeric, sambar powder of your choice, salt as per your taste, and let it heat on stove till heat bubbles come.
  5. Add the ground mixture, greated ginger, and the garlic. Let it boil for about 10min. The water should reduce by 20℅.
  6. Add a pinch of hing (asafoetida), and let it heat for another 2-3min.
  7. Switch off the stove.
  8. In another pan, heat a tablespoon of ghee, and add mustard, jeera for tadka. Pour this ghee tadka (tempering of ghee, mustard, jeera) into the rasam.
  9. Add lemon juice to the rasam.
  10. Finally add lots of washed and chopped coriander leaves to the rasam.
  11. Close the rasam with a plate for 5min, then consume it with rice or drink it like a soup.
Where pepper, ginger add to heat in your body, Ghee and coriander cool them (without making your system susceptible to disease)

It is safe to be consumed by kids and people of all ages.
If you find a change, do share it with others too, so all can benefit.

THE BASE UNDERSTANDING

Virus, bacteria are microbes which have always existed in every living being from time unknown, but they can cause havoc only if your body's immune system is weak.
Viral diseases of any kind have a relation with the immunity system of a person. A person with a weak immunity, gets affected due to viral, bacterial diseases sooner than a person with a strong immune system.
The above is a known fact.

A simple cold, cough, fever can take a serious form of disease such as pneumonia or SARS or some newly invented diseases in future. Anything that's related to viral, bacterial infections become stronger as ones immunity becomes weaker.
Although one cannot generalize everything, the above remains the root cause whatsoever.

THE CORONA VIRUS

A virus coming from animals, and its types affecting humans

Skipping the technicalities, From what is available about this virus that's important to know for layman,
  1. Affects parts of respiratory system causing flu, cough, cold symptoms
  2. Is contagious and spreads through droplets

Viruses, bacteria, fungi need specific weather conditions for survival. If the temperature in your region is cold, or high in humidity, or during the rainy and winters, one usually develops viral, bacterial, fungal infections and diseases.

Whether you have contracted the disease or would like to take precautions, the below remedies can be practiced.
Based on your belief, if you consume allopathic medicines regularly, you can still practice the below remedies.

REMEDIES

  1. Bharat Paddhat Therapies work at the grass root level and enhance immunity in all aspects of health (physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual).
The practice of these therapies
      • Colors,
      • Sound,
      • Breath Dance (has evidence of causing relief from cough after 20min after practice),
      • Geometries; on a daily basis, will improve the immunity within a day.

These have been tested, with several acknowledgments (few of them in review section, several of them in Bharat Paddhat Book).

This has been tested on viral infections as well (kids to adults), and with regular practice, one develops immunity and stops contracting such infections.

  1. The Indian food is a fantastic remedy. Indian food is designed to foster and protect human health.       There are several evidences to that. Coming to the point, do consume food that contain
  • Turmeric
  • Black pepper
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Lentils
  1. Do not consume food such as cheese, paneer or milk or cream based gravy, food without spices, sweets.
  • For people of non-Indian origin, do make it a habit to consume tea made by boiling water with ground pepper, ginger. Reduce it to half, and add a pinch of turmeric. Consume it in the morning.
  • For Indians, rasam is a delicacy that uses all the above mentioned ingredients.
  • Consume food that's piping hot. Do not consume food prepared the earlier day (very important).
  • It is best consume plant based diet.
  • Spend some time basking under sunlight (10am -11am)
The healing and immunity building recipes are the the following link

Bharat Paddhat way of cure using colors, sound, breath dance builds immunity very fast and relieves one of viral infections such as cold, cough symptoms as soon as 20min post session.
In severe cases, it takes about a day or two, when practiced regularly. Make sure you take a plant based diet until you practice Bharat Paddhat sound therapies specifically.
A glimpse of our recent session conducted in Pune.

Hope all benefit practicing the above remedies.
